"Queers wear red on Thursdays." At least that was what students said at my high school in 1964. We didn't know where that rumor came from, or even if it was true, but we weren't taking any chances. Every Thursday we made sure to not wear any garment with red in it. Even white socks with red stripes along the tops were avoided on Thursdays. We didn't want to do anything that might raise even a remote suspicion that we might be one of "them," because we were disgusted by the thought of the things that "those people" did. Even if we didn't know the word "abomination," we knew that homosexuality was an abomination. We didn't even need the Bible to tell us that. On the second day He gathered the waters together and

“And I [God] will put enmity between thee [the serpent] and the woman, and [Click and drag to move] between thy seed and her seed: it [or ‘he’] shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Gen. 3:15). “When Yeshua therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost” (John 19:30). Genesis 3:15 is generally regarded as the first Messianic prophecy, the first direct statement to predict a Messiah, a Redeemer who would someday come and undo the damage that the serpent did in Paradise. Genesis 3:15 is just one single verse, but it reveals quite a few details about the coming Messiah. First, it tells us that the Messiah will be an individual, not a group of people, because the singular, not the plural form, is used.
