Gates of Eden is a non profit religious corporation. Gates of Eden - The Botkin Bimonthly magazine is supported by tax-deductible donations of its generous readers. All donations mailed to the PO Box will be used to finance Gates of Eden bimonthly and Daniel Botkin's work as a Bible Teacher.
Here's What Your Donations do for Gates of Eden Ministries
When you support Gates of Eden, your donations help finance more than just a newsletter. This publication has Bible teachings to edify and encourage you, thought-provoking articles to enlighten you, and zany cartoons that use humor to challenge flawed theology. In addition to financing the production and mailing of this publication, your donations also help support the following:
PRISON OUTREACH. Thanks to the generosity of GOE readers, we have been able to donate hundreds of dollars’ worth of free books and teaching CDs to various prisons, where these materials are shared among inmates. All requests for free materials must come from a prison chaplain, along with details of which items can and cannot be sent, and how and to whom they should be sent. We donate books and teaching CDs that are produced by GOE.
GOE LOCAL OUTREACH. (Click here to go to GOE Outreach Center Page) Your donations help fund the maintenance of the GOE headquarters, a commercial building located at a very busy intersection. The building houses the GOE office and mailing room, an upstairs apartment to house GOE staff workers, another upstairs apartment to temporarily house out-of-town guests who come to visit us, and a large room on the ground floor that serves as the GOE Messianic Outreach Center.
The outreach center has tables and chairs, free coffee and tea, and free literature. It also has books, original artwork, and Israeli imports that can be purchased.
The outreach center is open regular hours during the week to serve as a place where lost sinners can hear the gospel and Bible believers can find fellowship. A prayer meeting is held each day an hour before opening.
The outreach center is also used for midweek meetings and for special events that are open to the public. It is also available for private events like baby showers, wedding showers, business meetings, parties, etc. Click Here to go to Local Events
SALARIES. Daniel Botkin takes a modest salary ($1200 net pay per month) from donations and books sales. Your donations help provide his salary and occasional wages paid to other GOE workers.
